St. Anne’s Camogie Club was founded in 1964 following a meeting held in Fr. Kennedy’s house in Dillonstown.
The club name St. Anne’s and the club uniform a lemon gym-slip, white shirt and black tights with black canvas boots were chosen. Fr. Kennedy was elected chairperson, assisted by Mary Keaskin, secretary and treasurer Mary Leonard.
Since then there has been a lot of changes but a strong tradition of Camogie in Togher has remained throughout the years. Our uniform is now a bottle green Skort (yes skort not skirt) with amber Jersey (black tights and canvas boots are long gone).
The club has had many successful years at both senior and juvenile level.
Founded in 1997 Togher Golf Society has been of the go now for over 14 years. The society organises up to ten outings each year as well as many other competitions such as Turkey Drives and the Annual Matchplay Competition.
The society aims to provide enjoyable outings for accomplished and not so accomplished golfers alike. Previous outings includes some fantastic courses including The K Club, The Heritage and Kileen Castle!
The society is currently seeking new members so whether you play like a pro or have a handicap akin to the national debt Togher Golf Society might be the place for you!

Togher Ladies Club have been going since August 2012. We are a group of Ladies who meet every month in the Community Centre Dillonstown. The average age of our group is 55+
We have been very successful to date, as we opened the door to ladies who have that extra time on their hands to enjoy life to the full.
Over the past five years we have enjoyed many trips to the Bord Gais Theatre Dublin, TLT Drogheda etc. Also for the last three years we have had weekends away at the end of Nov for our Christmas break, which is always very popular with the Ladies.
The 2017 trip is to Waterford on 24th November for two nights. We book with the excellent tour group “Memory Tours” they do a fully inclusive package which is great.
We are then heading to Belfast on a day trip on 7th Dec for the Christmas markets.
Last but not least to round off 2017 we have our Christmas night out at the wonderful Dunany Opera with Eugene on the 12Dec.
We also have the first of many trips in 2018 organised, including to the Bord Gais Theatre for the musical "The Sound of Music" on the 3rd of January 2018.
New members are always welcome contact Aileen 0862708574 or Mary 0860863034.
